Make Customer Email Optional in Checkout

A B2B SaaS customer using organization-based billing is facing issues because customer email is mandatory during checkout.

  • Customer email is required

  • Email is used as the primary customer identifier

Problem

  • Organizations don’t have a single permanent email

  • Billing email and account owner email are different

  • Organization ownership can change

This forces merchants to:

  • Use dummy emails, or
